When using the mobile/tablet version of our application, there might be some production orders or operations that you expect to find but can not. When this is the case, there are few reasons for this and we will go over them in this article.

For Production Orders there are some steps you can take to understand why they are not appearing.

Is the Production Order open and active?

If a Production Order is not open or active, you can use the action buttons to open it and activate it (remember it will only show up on the mobile version if it's active).

In order to check this you can search for the production order code using the search bar, use the "Open", "Closed" and "Archived" button filters and see at what state it is in.

When an operation is active it will have a green border on the left side, and if it's not, that border will be gray.

Moreover, when you open the production order you may find the error message below, warning you that there are one ore more raw materials. If this is the case, find the product here and add the corresponding operations to it.

Is the worker searching for the Production Order assigned to it?

The Production Order might be open and active but if the worker searching for it on the mobile application is not assigned to it, he won't be able to see it. Please ensure this worker is assigned to the order by editing it and checking the worker or worker group boxes in the Production Order

Remember in worker groups you can assigned "All" workers to the production order to assign all your workers to it.

Other causes

Depending on your account settings, some operations may be hidden from the tablet view, usually in these situations :

1. Completed operations are hidden - All operations that have been completed for the asked quantity in the Production Order will not show up on the mobile version.
2. Future operations are hidden - Operations are hidden from the mobile versions until you have completed either one, or all quantity for the operation previous to it in the product workflow.
3. If you have scheduling by operation activated, the operation might have not been chosen to be performed in the Production Order.
You can check this by going to the production order and seeing at the top which operations are selected.

If all these conditions are met and the Production Order is still not showing up, the issue may be with the operations in the workflow not being available to be performed.
To check on this first view the Production Order report, and the product workflow, to see at what stage of the workflow you are at in this Production Order.

Is the worker assigned to the operation's section?

If a worker belongs to a section, they will only be able to execute operations from that section
To verify this you can search for the operation in the Operations dashboard and see if it is assigned to a section.

After seeing in which section the operation occurs, you can verify if the worker is assigned to that section by going to the Workers' dashboard. Here, you'll be able to see to which sections that worker is assigned to.

If an operation has no section, any worker can see it, if a worker has no section assigned, he can see all operations.

With these steps you should be able to troubleshoot why a production order/operation is not showing up in your app. If you still have any doubts about this process or you still cannot find what you're looking for, you're welcome to use our live-chat feature and we will help!
