The mobile app allows you to scan several barcodes throughout production to facilitate the "insert production" process on the shop floor. To do so, there is a document available to be generated in the production order menu that contains all the barcodes corresponding to the different insert production menus.

To try this functionality, please follow the steps below:

Generate the Header Sheet with the barcodes

1. Access the production order menu(1), on the left sidebar. Afterwards, use filters or the search bar(2) to find the desired production order.

2. On the actions buttons, press on the "Header sheets" icon

3. A new browser tab will open with the generated PDF.

The Header sheet will have all the most relevant production order (PO) information, such as the PO code, start and end date, quantity ordered, product code, and estimated production time.

Additionally, the header sheet will also generate the Production Order Barcode(1), product barcode(2), and all the barcodes considering the different operations(3).

It's possible to read the different barcodes in different screens to skip steps. Please analyze the table below to check the different behaviors:

Read the barcodes on the Mobile App

1. Go to the mobile app, select the button "Insert production" (1) and place your worker number (2).

2. On the top right corner of the screen, select the "camera" symbol.

3. The previous actions will open a barcode reader. Point the camera/barcode scanner to the barcode you want to read.

It is expected for the screen to jump directly to one of the options presented in the table above.

4. Repeat the process as many times as you need.

Pro Tip: Print the worker’s ID barcode on the Worker’s Menu and use it to identify the worker on the check-in.

Performing a MULTI operation with barcodes

There are specific technicalities involved when performing MULTI operations, particularly when using barcodes in this context. Please follow the steps below:

1. Go to the mobile app, select the button "Insert production" and place your worker number.

2. Select manually the multi-operation you would like to perform.

3. Read the product barcode generated on the header sheet.

4. After choosing the first production order and product, repeat the process for the remaining products/PO where you would like to start the MULTI operation.

5. When no more products are to be selected, please press the button "No more products".

Note:

On the mobile app, it's also possible to read barcodes distinct from the ones generated on the header sheet. To accomplish this, you need to create a label with the correct [tag] to ensure that the displayed information is accurate.

In this article, you can have more information on how to create labels.

On this one you have information on all the barcode label tags available.
